I’m a big lover of coffee. You cannot find any other drink better than an iced coffee as a ticket to cool off, on a hot day. But the thing is most of us don’t know how to make iced coffee. Let me show you how to make iced coffee in your home kitchen.
How to make iced coffee: The Classic One
- Ice cubes – 1 cup
- Coffee (at room temperature or chilled) – 1 cup
- Cream or milk – 2 tablespoons
- Granulated white sugar – 1 to 2 tsp
Step 1: Take a tall glass and a spoon that is long enough to reach the bottom of the glass.
Step 2: Fill up the whole glass with ice. And if you are a coffee addict, then you can make those ice cubes with coffee too. But you may not able to get that “diluted” effect.
Step 3: Pour chilled or room temperature coffee into the glass. Fill the glass almost to the top.
Step 4: Now pour in the white stuff of your choice, whether it is a cream, milk, or half & half. If you are making it a decadent treat then, go on with cream or half & half.
Step 5: Look how the swirls sinks and mixes up with the coffee. Beautiful isn’t it?
Step 6: (If you like sweet) Add necessary quantity of sugar or any other sweetener you use regularly.
Step 7: Now stir up the mixture well!
Step 7: If you are a straw person, then add a straw and drink up the heavenly delicious drink.
- Using non-fat milk or fat free half & half can lighten up the things.
- You can also prefer low calorie or calorie less sweetener.
- Using a flavored creamer will wrap up both the cream and the sugar.
